     Don is a counseling psychiatrist in Leesburg, Virginia. He enjoys exploring connections between psychiatry and spirituality and integrating these insights into care for his patients.

     He is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine and a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He has worked with medication-development researchers at Georgetown and the National Institutes of Health and was awarded the American Psychiatric Association’s Resident Research Award for work on depression conducted at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

     After medical school, he entered the Army, where Major Hall served as psychiatrist for the 82nd Airborne Division and was later appointed Chief of Outpatient Psychiatry at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. As a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences, he published two psychiatric handbooks and authored over twenty medical journal articles including reports in the American Journal of Psychiatry and Journal of the American Medical Association.
